Thanks for the advice! I literally jus had a first date the other day and I always get super anxious and nervous like my mind spirals to the point by the time I’m on a date and being ask questions about myself, my mind goes blank. I really want to work on myself so I can eventually get to a positive healthy dating experience, thanks for the insightful video :)
I loved this video ❤ also reminded me about a guy I had one date with. It was an ok date, he'd travel to Paris in the next day and would be there on my birthday, so he said "gonna look for a little gift for you", and joking I said "ohh like a cartier ring?" (God it was our first date. We knew each other for a week... it sound even weird he talks about a gift, but ok, i thought I had handle that with the joke. When he got home, he said he was writing me a big happy birthday message to send me. He actually sent me a happy birthday even before anyone bc he was in a different timezone and even sent me pictures from cartier. And every time I was saying "hey its a joke, no need, relax etc" but he kept "but i want to be true, you're amazing, i can propose to you when i get back", meanwhile i was: no, no, stop! It made me realize the importance to be slowww
I loved this spisodio and of course I want to continue seeing and listening to the new capsula of the dating steps. Finally understand your references to the program "love is blind". My heart broke when ramses ended with marissa, although she did her an incredible favor, she just wanted to be chosen :(
I got you!! Episode 21 (I don’t have video since it was earlier on in the show but available on Spotify or wherever podcasts play) that focuses on dating apps!
I've been single for more than five years and I just started dating, so I don't know what my patterns are yet. I am concerned that I'm not able to make an emotional connection with the lady I'm dating. Maybe it's me. Maybe its her. 🤷🏽♂️
I do my best to say “they” anytime I can but “you guys” or “hey babes” is part of my speech. I get it if it’s not for you but if I’m speaking in a heteronormative story or speech then “guys” would be appropriate, my audience is 80% female so it does work for a lot of people specifically.
Much appreciated advice!!! The first month drives me and my anxious brain BONKERS and this self-care and self-trusting advice is so helpful and needed
"What's for you is not going to pass you" I wrote that down to remember!
This is really helpful for me! I can definitely relate to the first stage of the dating anxiety so this was good to listen to!
Definitely look forward to more series!
So far it’s been more difficult just finding someone I want to go on a date with. 😉
Same here 😅

I would love if you would stop using the gendered language like “guys”.
